However if you are someone who prefers to use a medication which does not need to be ingested then a cream may be more advisable. These types of medications come in a cream formula and are applied directly to the area where the pain is and are absorbed directly through the skin into the body. But which ever kind of medication you decide to use, it is advisable that you discuss the matter with your doctor first as there could be some underlying cause for the problem which may require another form of treatment in order to help deal with it.
